This is my first jamboree this year. My last one is Kayuh Lasak last year. I’m quite selective on joining cycling events this year because of other commitments.

As usual, we planned to drive to Kulim at 4am but only 5am we started moving. We stopped for fajr prayer at a mosque at Kulim and had our breakfast after that.

I planned to carry my DSLR and to start at least 15 minutes early so I could shoot the leaders. But we are late. So Plan B, just ride and enjoy.

• Calories: 2363 (4326)
• Highest peak: 219m (580m)

Looking at the figures, Kayuh Lasak is twice as hard as Kulim.
