I set my Garmin Edge 705 to Padang Besar today from my house. The total KM shown was 77km.

Started from my house at 7am. My Garmin guided me to mini tar and tried to avoid main road as much as possible.

The last 8 km I had to ride through blazing sun at Chuping.

Arrived at new Padang Besar Mosque and waited for my wife and kids. After resting and taking a bath at the mosque, we proceed to Padang Besar to shop.

First time I saw this CIMA factory.

My transport arrived at the mosque. Rested here about 45 minutes.

This is the first time the whole family riding. BTW, the oldest in MRSM Pengkalan Chepa.

32km ride from house to Kepala Batas, Titi Besi, Alor Madi and visit Kedah International Hot Air Balloon. If you notice, not enough helmet for everyone.

Ride with family is the best but the slowest.

Rain did  limit my movement. Some were shoot from distance. The cloudy weather did not help the photos.

From Titi Hayun to Regency Resort took us nearly 4 hours. We climbed from 100m to more than 1,000m. The weather was great.

The Regency Resort was under intensive preparation preparing for opening ceremony by Tuanku Sultan Kedah on the 18th.

We chartered a van to bring us back to Titi Hayun and we were charged RM10 per head.

This is the first part of training for Great Adventure planned in Oct this year.

Climbers – Adi, Mizi, Man, Fendi, Wan, Din Toyota, Zam and Zul. The first 6 finished it. 2 turned back.

This track already submitted to Malaysia Free Maps. It will appear in a couple of weeks.

Beautiful nature and hungry leeches.

Towards the end, more steps toward the resort.

Last month I bought Fox fork from US. I was so lucky before and never got taxed for anything. My luck ran out.

I bought so many thing from the oversea and never got taxed like camera, golf items, gps, sunglasses, watch and even MTB brake.

My Fox was detained by Butterworth Custom and I had to go there to claim it. I had to pay 25% tax.

I was not excited about night shooting. Nothing special to expect. Just doing friends a favour.

Drive from Alor Setar with Tandope. TQ Bang Ibrahim who brought us to some points on the track. But could not find good location for photography due to darkness. I really hope it was daytime.

I hope that was the last time I shot night jamboree.

Success rate just about 60%. Some are out of focus. Some are under exposed. I am sorry that I could not cover as much as I like. Some were in, some were not.
