Suddenly one of my sites, malaysiacycling.blogspot.com showed this message. This site just contain event postings and links. Just press ignore, no problem whatsoever.

I’ll google and tried to solved it next week. Now extremely busy with work.

6 July is the 2nd year anniversary for adiharriman.com domain. To flash back, my first post was about 8 riders from Yala.

After 2 years and nearly 40k visitors to my blog and more than 100k pictures downloaded from my gallery, I hope this site will live forever, insyaAllah.

I hope to continue sharing and hope that some will benefit from posts.

I don’t think so. Or maybe I just did not do it right.

I started putting in Adsense on 14th October 2008. The number of ads displayed started from a few to a few thousands on good days. But only click on ads gives you money. How much per click? It depends. From 0 cent to 50 cents. Normally around 10 cents.

My adsense ads not only displayed here but on daawah.com, dakwah.org and kedahjamboree photo gallery. Even that, the money came in very slow.

Only after a year and 2 months, I got my first payment.

I think I should look for other ads company. Anyone has any idea?

Foreign cheque will only be cleared in a month. If they can credit direct into my paypal account, I will be happier.

Our server will be moved to a new location. Sorry for the inconvenience. This move is for the betterment of its performance.

Whoever hosted with me will be effected.

1. We will power down the server at the existing data center.
2. Wrap and pack the servers nicely to avoid any hardware issue during the servers transportation to the data center (from Cyberjaya to AIMS KL data center)
3. Un-wrap the server upon our arrival at the new data center and conduct a power test at the data center staging room to ensure there’s no power issue which may possibly trip the data center power source. Server will be shut down once again upon the successful power test.
4. We will rack the server into the server rack and power up the server.
5. We will start the IP renumbering on the server once the server is powered-on at the server rack. We expect to take about 30-45 minutes for each server renumbering to complete.
6. The entire migration process complete.

What should you do?

Nothing actually. The migration is a safe exercise. You need not do anything. But if you want to make it double safe, please backup and download it into your PC.

Log in your cpanel, select Backups (under files menu), then ‘Download or Generate Full Web Site Backup’, then ‘Generate Backup’. Wait for a while and the new backup will appear. Click the link and save into your PC harddisk.

You might not notice it if you sleep early on 8th Jan 2010.

All the sudden, a lot of blogspot sites showing this error message – bX-59cppwg

It is a major setback since one of my project developed using blogspot. We have no control when this kind of things happened.

What you should do when your wordpress not accessible or not showing properly or acting weirdly?

I’m no expert in programming and don’t know anything about php but my advise as per my experiences.

The first thing you should do is open your control panel (cpanel) and repair the WP database.

When you purchase a domain and hosting, your new site is typically blank without any content or even the under construction index.html.

For bloggers who want to install wordpress, you have to log on to control panel at:

http://yourdomain.com/cpanel

Please key in your username and password given. The screen as below will come out.

For WordPress installation, scroll down and click Fantastico under Software/Service menu.

The click WordPress in Blogs category. Click new installation and then follow the instruction.

You can install your blog under sub directory or main directory. My advice is to install under sub directory such as http://yourdomain.com/blog. It is easier for file management and your might want to install other scripts in the future.

If your wordpress in under sub directory, you need to forward whoever keyin your domain as http://yourdomian.com to http://yourdomain.com/blog to avoid your site turns blank.

In the control panel, click Redirects under domains menu. The follow instruction.

You can access wordpress admin page at http://yourdomain.com/blog/wp-admin

Done.

Recently I had this problem. I did nothing to wordpress and the error just suddenly appeared.

I submitted ticket, the server technical personel told me that all the folders should have permission of 755 dan files should be 644. So I went into and changed the permission as told but the problem was still the same.

I searched the net and no solution found.

At last, I went into Cpanel and did the database repair, and suprisingly everything back to normal.

I think some of the spam comments messed up the database. Or maybe some widgets or pluggins.
